Our course gives you the blueprint to starting A Business so when you're ready to launch The Business, you're ready!

The Ultimate Business Start-up Course is run over 6 90-minute sessions and gives you the skills and knowledge to run a micro-business.

This starts with creating a business plan and brand. You will then be expected to spend a few weeks of trading (actually selling something!) over either the Christmas or Easter school holiday. When you return we will assess your financial position and update your business plan for future growth should you want to keep the business going.

This is not about making you a billionaire or helping you to get your dream business off the ground (that will come later!).

This course will teach you the skills to run a small business and train you to plan for growth, so that when The Big Idea is staring you in the face, you know what do to.

The End Product 

​

You will finish this course with a functioning micro business that allows you to practise the skill of entrepreneurship. You may choose to keep your business running as a side-hustle alongside your studies. You will have our unique templates and planning documents to take away with you, which you can use for your Big Idea later in your entrepreneur journey, when it really matters!

You will also be invited to join the Third Space Entrepreneurs Network, to allow you to connect with other likeminded teenagers with ambitions to start businesses.

Our unique three-part approach

​

The Ultimate Business Start-Up is run in three parts. 

​

This allows a period of trading, in between the two taught parts of the course, during which you can test the knowledge and the skills learnt during Part 1. 

​

Part 3 is designed to help you reflect and adapt their business ideas so that by the end of the course you have a functioning small business. 

​

Part 1: Learning the basics of business

The Idea -  90 minutes

Finance - 90 minutes

Marketing - 90 minutes

Part 2: Trading

3-4 weeks of trading opportunities supported by 2 optional check-ins with Third Space Education tutors.

Part 3: Reflection and Future Planning

Financial analysis - 90 minutes

Marketing reflection - 90 minutes

My future business - 90 minutes

Entry Requirements 

​

While there are no academic entry requirements for this course, a can-do attitude is an absolute must! This course will offer skills, inspiration, guidance, and coaching, but the energy and effort need to come from you. 

​

There is no requirement to have a business idea in mind; we have loads of business ideas for you to choose from. A list of ideas will be sent out ahead of the course, but the first sessions will give plenty of time for brainstorming.

The course costs £295.

This includes 9 hours of tuition and all course materials.

The age range for these courses is 14 - 18.
